It’s been awhile since I shopped for myself. With four kids to shop for, it’s easy to forget to update your own wardrobe. With Mother’s Day on the way, I decided to treat myself with a trip to Macy’s Backstage. I want to treat you, too, because I’m also giving away $100 gift card!
For a busy mom of four, using an at-home whitening kit like Smile Brilliant was definitely my best option. This system suggests whitening anywhere from 45 minutes to 3 hours. I’m so happy I didn’t have to do that in an office chair at the dentist!
It’s the very end of May and I promised myself when the New Year arrived that I would pay attention to self-care. I’m not doing so great, because I just started focusing on some things for me last week! Self care looks and feels different for everyone. For me, if I had spare time, I would see my friends more, read, exercise, sleep or do something fun with my husband.
Imagine opening a personalized gift that’s unique to you and made for you. Sounds nice, no? Those are my most favorite gift ideas and what I usually choose for my own mom. A canvas print of precious moments with the family is so special and memorable and would also make for beautiful home decor. It’s also a great excuse to take photos off your camera and phone!
I’m not going to lie, I’m not a huge spring cleaner. I much rather prefer to speed clean when I know I’m about to host a party or have company. Who’s with me? However, I have come across some great hacks that help me spruce up my home in a jif. Trust me, you’ll love these!
As a seasoned mom of one spirited little toddler, I feel like I have some more knowledge and grasp on items that are necessary – and unnecessary – to help care for baby. Here’s a list of some items I loved the first time around – as well as new items I’m excited to try.
I like to celebrate Valentine’s Day by doing something fun with my husband that focuses on us as a couple and what we enjoy about each other. We certainly do not go out like we used to, but we love to enjoy ourselves at home.
My wardrobe has been a bit of an issue as of late. I’m four months post partum and most of my pants don’t fit the way they used to. And I’ve come to terms with the fact they may never fit the way I want them to again. My body has carried four children and that’s pretty amazing. If I need to dress accordingly, no biggie!
