There are so many things to love about the holiday season, but a big reason I love it so much is because of family traditions. Edaville Family Theme Park could be quite possibly New England’s most memorable holiday tradition. It’s a beautifully kept theme park that goes all out for the holiday season.
It’s day four of our summer vacation and already my kids are looking for more to do. You should see my parenting style these days. I’m certain they’ve eaten too many popsicles and probably watched too much TV. I’ve known for a while that going into this summer, in particular, may prove challenging for me because my youngest is only 7 weeks old.
I’m giving away 25 family four packs to see the advanced screening on October 29, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island. All you have to do is use my Private RSVP code to sign up for the tickets and then download them. It’s that easy!
We survived our Walt Disney World trip. I’ll be honest, I had my doubts because my boys are very active and I wasn’t sure how they’d handle waiting in line or walking through the park. But, it all went well and the kids were great!
To say I’ve been planning this vacation for months is an understatement. My husband jokes with me and says “Are we going to talk about Disney every day until we leave?” And my answer, of course, was “YES!” I have researched some very cool ways to make this vacation a little more magical for our family.
While I love all things fall, I do not enjoy all things scary when it comes to Halloween. Since my children are little I’ve been able to avoid that part of this time of year. This list of fun family-friendly activities is great for all ages.
When you have young kids like I do, there comes a point where you learn their threshold for activities. For example, no more than two errands in a row or someone will be melting down or asking for a doughnut.
If you don’t mind your kids staying up a little later, why not have some after-dark fun? So, break out the batteries and the flashlight and get ready to hear some squeals and giggles with these three outdoor activities.
Kidtoons are family matinees that happen every third Saturday and Sunday of the month. The running time is about one hour, which is perfect for younger kids; as any longer could make them antsy.
Iced Coffee Day is happening this month on May 25 and Dunkin’ Donuts will donate $1 to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, for every iced coffee purchased. As a mom who could use a pick me up at any time of day, I’ll definitely be heading to my local Dunkin’ to participate in such a worthy cause.
My daughter and I had the ultimate day of fun during our RI Spring Break. We had the chance to check out local marine life at the Biomes Center and feed exotic birds in an immersive experience at Roger Williams Park Zoo.
