When it comes to dressing my baby I mostly choose cotton. It’s harder to wear just cotton in the warmer months because it’s so cold, but I will also put a fleece layer on him too. I just love the softness of cotton most.
I recently received a new shirt from Burt’s Bees to review and couldn’t wait to get it on my 3-month-old.
We already use a lot of Burt’s Bees natural products, specifically their shampoo, body wash and baby powder. But, this is the first time I have heard of them selling clothes.
Their line offers 100% organic cotton baby clothes and are adorable and super soft.
Here’s why you’ll love organic cotton:
- Organic cotton is a natural and breathable fiber. It’s softness really feels wonderful against the skin.
- Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, so there are no residues in the fabric when its on your baby. Which is great, especially for soft and sensitive new skin.
- Our organic cotton washes well, and not only does it hold up beautifully through wash after wash, it gets even softer over time, all the while maintaining a great fit.
The clothes are currently available for purchase at burtsbeesbaby.com, babiesrus.com, and select Babies ‘R Us store locations.
The shirt my son is wearing is a henley tee and bodysuit combo! This 100% organic cotton set features coconut buttons on the henley tee and snaps at the diaper line on the bodysuit to allow for quick changes.
We were sent a size 0-3 months and he was still able to wear it at 4-months-old. In my opinion, it ran a little big, so we waited a bit before he could wear it. My baby is a little small for his age so the sleeves were long at first, but I just cuffed them and they were totally fine.
Honestly, I think it’s great it was a bit larger than I expected because he gets to wear it longer. Hooray for not replacing clothes every five minutes!
Disclosure: I received one baby boy outfit from Burt’s Bees as a thank you for writing this review.
