Since next Thursday is Thanksgiving, and I’ll probably be too full to move an inch, I most likely won’t be posting. So, it’s only fitting that my first ever “Thankful Thursday” post be written today.
An online group I’m a part of called Rhody Bloggers, posts each week on this very topic and I noticed I hadn’t yet. They’re all amazing women, and I love to read what they’re up to and especially thankful for. Thank you to Joanna at Baby Gators Den for hosting “Thankful Thursdays!”
I’m so thankful:
1. I’ve had an amazing pregnancy. I feel great and baby is doing great. 31 weeks today and I couldn’t be happier.
2. For my supportive husband. If it weren’t for him I’d be coming to work everyday with no lunch. I’m so tired at night, that the last thing I feel like doing after everything else is something for me. He packs it while I’m asleep and makes sure it’s full of string cheese, pickles, chips and all the bad essentials pregnant women need!
3. My beautiful daughter is healthy and happy.
4. For old friends and new friends. I’m lucky and excited that my sister is throwing me a “Sprinkle” next weekend, and I can’t wait to spend the afternoon with people I haven’t seen in months!
5. To work 10 minutes from home in a job I have security at.
Of course, there is so much more to be thankful for, but at this moment, on this Thursday, this is what comes to mind.
What are you most thankful for at this very second?

I am just getting around to reading everyone’s Thankful Thursday posts ๐ I love the idea of a sprinkle…so much fun! Glad to hear you’re having an awesome pregnancy, you must be getting excited that you’re in the final stretch! ๐
I’m excited and nervous. I hear having two kids is like having 20! Haha
yay for a sprinkle and job security!!!
Opposite ends of the spectrum, but I’m thrilled either way! haha
What a great list! A Sprinkle is so much fun!
Thanks so much! ๐
So glad you’re feeling great! It’s nice to have an easy pregnancy! Great post!
Hopefully I didn’t speak too soon! We all know it gets a little tougher at the end, less than 9 weeks to go, so maybe I’ll be singing a different tune by Christmas! ๐
A 10 minute commute!? That’s awesome.
I know right?! Crazy. It might be even shorter cause I come to work at 5 a.m., so there’s no cars on the road. haha
ok i was totally going to ask what the heck a sprinkle was – never heard of that – but then i saw your response. what cute idea! have a great time! i’m so happy for you the pregnancy is going well ๐
Aw thanks Liza! OK, so I’m def gonna post about my sprinkle next week because my sister is planning the whole thing. They even make sprinkle invitations now, who knew?! Cute idea for sure!
Aww, what a sweet husband! You’re in the final stretch of your pregnancy now – how exciting! I’m so glad it has been a great pregnancy. You look fab!
Thanks Jane! I should post a pic up here one of these days of my belly. I’ve hardly taken any this time around!
How cool! I am jealous you are having a sprinkle? 10 minutes from work- lucky ducky!
I love reading what you’re thankful for! I can’t wait to see the new baby ๐ Thank you for linking up!!
Thanks again for hosting, I think linking up is so cool. ๐ I’m late to the party bit glad I joined in!
A “sprinkle”?! What a fantastic idea! I love it.
I think I’ll have to do a post on my sprinkle and share some pics after the holiday weekend! ๐
definitely!!!
It’s good to have a supportive husband. My husband would go get me anything I wanted, didn’t matter where it was or what it was.
It is seriously SO helpful! He also cleans up after the dinner. ๐ Hopefully it all continues once baby is here! haha
I just found out what a Sprinkle is this year when my sis wanted to plan one! haha It’s a second, small baby shower. It’s usually thrown for moms who have a big age gap with their kids or who are having a baby of opposite sex. Since I’m having a boy, she and my fam and friends want to buy some little boy stuff. I’m so lucky they thought of it! ๐
What is a Sprinkle? Sounds fun! Yeah for hubby’s who pack lunches! ๐
