Whenever I’m in a dinner rut, one of my go-to meals is to make breakfast for supper. In my house, we call it “Brupper.” And it makes an appearance on the family meal board a few times a month.
It’s no secret breakfast is my favorite meal. In fact, my favorite food is home fries.
And pizza.
And sushi.
OK, it’s hard to pick, but still. Who doesn’t love breakfast? My mouth is watering just typing about it.
You can imagine the excitement when I found out McDonald’s was going to start offering their breakfast classics beyond the morning. This is our go-to stop whenever we travel by car. It’s become a tradition.
Fun fact: More than 120,000 people tweeted McDonald’s asking for breakfast throughout the day in the past year alone!
Beginning October 6, after 10:30 a.m., the following menu items can be enjoyed:
- Egg McMuffin Sandwiches
- Platters (yum, Hotcakes!)
- Sausage Burritos
- Fruit ‘N Yogurt Parfait
- Fruit & Maple Oatmeal
- Hash Browns
To celebrate the launch of McDonald’s extended breakfast, there will be a pajama party in Boston at City Hall on Friday, October 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The company will be serving up free Egg McMuffins and McCafé coffee from their life-size Happy Meal tent. (Now, that’s something to see!)
Guests will also be able to enjoy games and fun prizes. And for anyone who arrives in their pajamas (seriously!), or college students who wear college gear, they can win a stellar extra prize as well!
