This is a sponsored post by Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. The shopping experience, things I bought and opinions stated are all my own.
There are 30 days until my fourth child arrives. 30. Days.
Of course, I’m in nesting mode and trying to get the house ready in each room for our latest addition. While I’m washing and sterilizing things, my husband has decided he wants to update our kitchen and remodel our pantry. 😱 I know. It’s making me nervous, too.
While we’ve been cleaning out kitchen cabinets, we’ve been tossing items that no longer work or are in bad shape into the trash. As we organized, we made a list of things we needed to replace. Since, we don’t want to spend a ton of money buying new items weeks before baby gets here, we knew we had to find a store that carried brand names for less.
In fact, a few days ago I was invited to check out Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, ahead of its official opening.
This is the first Ollie’s Bargain Outlet to come to Rhode Island, but there are more than 230 in the United States.
At Ollie’s you’ll find real brands at real bargain prices in every department, from housewares to sporting goods to flooring and to food. According to their website, “Ollie’s buyers scour the world looking for closeouts, overstocks, package changes, manufacturer refurbished goods, and irregulars.”
We drove to Ollie’s with a FEW definite products in mind to buy, but ended up leaving with a CART full of items from coffee to weed and feed.
Here’s what $125 got my family at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.
We got a lot of amazing deals at Ollie’s. My favorite item is our new toaster. It’s Black & Decker brand, stainless steel, digital and was only $14.99! At other stores it would have been priced around $25.
The toy aisle was also impressive. It was tough to lure my kids away, so I let them each pick out something for being well-behaved and for coming shopping with mom while she “worked.” A little bribery never hurt anyone, right?
I saw many familiar board games, dolls and trucks from brands like Mattel, Hasbro, Fisher Price, Playskool, Tonka and Melissa & Doug.
When you visit Ollie’s in Woonsocket, you’ll notice it’s huge and will probably be surprised at the variety of departments to shop in.
Departments include:
- Housewares
- Food
- Flooring
- Stationary and books
- Toys
- Home improvement and hardware
- Electronics
- Clothing and luggage
- Health and beauty supplies
- Pet supplies
- Automotive and more!
My husband and I truly noticed a big price savings in the food aisle. K-cups are normally $10 at the grocery store, but we paid $4.99 for a box at Ollie’s.
We also buy V8 Fusion juice every week and I know that’s priced at more than $4 at our local grocery store. We paid $2.29 a bottle here, so we bought two! I should have bought more now that I think of it. 🤔
I’d love for you to check out Ollie’s, that’s why I’m giving away two $25 gift cards so you can experience the deals for yourself.
