Since this is my second go-around with pregnancy I feel pretty comfortable about what products I need vs. products I think I need. There are so many gadgets out there that it’s easy to want all of it.
My list for maternity must-haves is all over the board, but to me they’ve all been helpful and each are important for their own reasons.
Top 10 Maternity Must-Haves
1. Ingrid & Isabel Women’s Maternity Everyday BellaBand, $19.99
It took awhile for me to start to “show” with both of my pregnancies, so maternity pants were often big, but my regular pants were definitely too tight. The Bella Band lets you leave your pants unbuttoned and keep wearing your pre-pregnancy stuff a bit longer.
2. Dental Floss, $3
Your gums can get sensitive during pregnancy but it’s more important to keep flossing. Try a very gentle dental floss.
3. Really good cream or lotion True Blue Spa Shea Cashmere Body Cream from Bath and Body Works $17.50
Your belly skin might get itchy as it stretches, so investing in a really good lotion is totally worth it. I’ve used this particular cream during both pregnancies and it totally worked! Plus, it smells amazing.
4. Body Pillow
During pregnancy you’ll reach a certain point where you can only sleep on your side, and trust me, that will get old. A body pillow will you get comfortable. It’s also great for belly sleepers.
5. Pregnancy books: What to Expect When You’re Expecting, YOU: Having a Baby by Dr. Oz.
You’ll have plenty of time to read while waiting at doctor’s appointments, so why not educate yourself and catch up on what’s happening with baby. These books provide week-by-week guides, Q&A’s and/or recipes.

6. Water!
Pregnant or not, drinking water is essential. But, being pregnant, you get tired or out of breath quicker than you normally would. I just keep refilling my water bottle all day, and I’ve found it to be helpful.
7. Prenatal Gummy Vitamins: VitaFusion PreNatal Gummy Vitamins or Target Brand
Your doctor probably filled you in on why these are important, but gummy vitamins are easy to chew, plus their fun and tasty! The big pre-natals can be tough to get down because of their size. These are a great alternative.
8. Yoga DVD: Elemental: Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga
The program demonstrates exercises safe for all trimesters and they are quick and easy workouts. Many doctors will say the more limber and stronger you are, the easier your birth. This DVD also has postnatal exercises as well.
9. My Pregnancy Today from BabyCenter- Free!
This app is provided by BabyCenter and it’s free! I absolutely love it, the app sends you updates, lets you count kicks, create a pregnancy checklist and it shows fetal development images. Let the countdown begin!
10. Tums
Heartburn can take over at the most inopportune times. Keeping these with you can ease any discomfort.

A lotion is very important for the pregnant ladies to get away from the itchy skin, the pregnant ladies are more prone to the skin infections, so it is necessary for them to use the lotions.

My snoogle body pillow saved me both times that I was pregnant – sleeping sitting up with my second because of asthma issues, and awful carpal tunnel from squishing my shoulder with my first. Great list!
