When I think of fall, the first thing that comes to mind is the fashion. I am not a guru by any means, but I enjoy the leggings, the boots, the coats and long sweaters. It just screams cozy to me.
Last fall I was a few months postpartum so my fall coat didn’t really fit. The fall before that I was pregnant, so this year I was in need of new outerwear.
As a busy mom, I need something that I can wear during the day to work, to the preschool playground and out on the weekend. It sounds like a tall order, but I found a jacket that fits the bill!
Matilda Jane’s Ida jacket is made with soft and warm French terry and is perfect for any occasion. I’m also obsessed with the olive green color it comes in. In my opinion, it’s one of those colors that works with any hair or skin color.
My sweet preschooler even got a wardrobe upgrade this season with the Devon Coat from Matilda Jane. She is in love with it as much as I am!
With polka dot fabric, layers of ruffles, and floral trim, it will quickly become your little girl’s favorite way to beat the cold.
“I love that it’s pink and really warm,” my 5-year-old said.
Matilda Jane is a girls’ and women’s clothing brand that focuses on unique, mixed prints and designs that allow little girls to be little girls!
I love the detail and patterns in the clothing. Just check out those ruffles and stripes on my daughter’s leggings!
A lot of moms who shop with Matilda Jane like to pick coordinating items with their daughters. I love this idea!
- Some coordinating ideas: The Kaia Peasant Top for mom and the Elliott Tunic for their daughter
Twice a year, Matilda Jane Clothing introduces a new line. The collections roll out in the Spring and Fall, and are available exclusively from their Trunk Keepers.
Trunk Keepers are independent personal stylists located throughout the country. They work one on one with with customers or help them throw Trunk Shows as private shopping events.
It’s an interesting way to shop and definitely keeps things personal!
Have you ever shopped with Matilda Jane? If so, what piece did you get?
