As if us moms need another reason to start pinning on Pinterest, but just last week users were allowed to finally create a secret board! The private board can be used to collect ideas for things that you don’t want the whole world to see.

This is great if you’re trying to collect gift ideas, plan a special event or work on a project. You can either keep it to yourself or share it with specific people. Genius!
The test is rolling out gradually to all Pinterest users, but each user is only allowed three of these secret boards. They can be created through their website or the Pinterest App.
Create a Secret Board from the Web:
– Scroll down to the bottom of your profile and click Create a Secret Board
– You could also click Add+ on the top right-hand corner to select Create Board and switch the Secret button on
From mobile:
– Mobile users need to download the most recent version of Pinterest
– Select the Boards tab
– Scroll to the bottom and click Create a Secret Board
***Tip! Existing boards can’t be made private, other people may have already repinned them.
