Easter Sunday is this weekend and if you haven’t painted eggs yet or done a small craft with your kids, don’t worry! We haven’t painted our eggs either and we’ve only done a few crafts.
Usually, I like to come up with my own creations, but this year I’m too busy to bother because baby #4 will be here in 22 days and there is just so much to do.
We’re getting our house ready, I have two doctor’s appointments a week now and I feel like I live in my car shuttling the kids around.
If you’re in a similar boat, fear not, I found some super cute craft ideas on Pinterest that your kids will enjoy making and very little supplies are needed.
Easter Silhouette Craft
What drew me to this craft is that your child can do all of it on their own with very little assistance. It involves a glue stick, strips of paper and a cut out silhouette.
Supplies needed:
- Bunny template (find it at easypeasyandfun.com)
- Printer
- Two sheets of white paper per shape (heavier paper is better) – one for the outline and one for background
- Paper in many colors
- Scissors
- Glue
Method:
Start by cutting out the silhouette outlines.
Do not discard the little bunny tail.
Cut plenty of strips of colorful paper. (Use scissors, a paper trimmer or just rip the paper with your hands to make the strips.)
Glue the strips of paper one of the white sheets of paper.
Once all the paper strips are on their place apply a glue on one side of the paper with the bunny silhouette.
Glue it on top of the paper with all those colorful strips.
Lastly, glue on bunny tail and your Easter Silhouette Craft is ready to be displayed.
