‘Curious’ kids enjoy Edaville and Dino Land

August 29, 2014 By Courtney

In a previous post I talked about how my family and I were heading to Edaville USA in Carver, Mass. to visit with Curious George and have a fun day at the park. I was hoping to have breakfast with Curious George, but getting out of my house with three small kids in tow is no easy fete.

Unfortunately, we did not make it for pancakes, but we did make it for lunch and the kids had a blast.

We’ve been to Edaville twice now, once to see Thomas the Tank Engine and now to meet Curious George. I think the kids enjoyed this time the best so far because we also had the chance to check out Dino Land.

As soon as we walked through the entrance we headed right over to meet Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat. The line was long and I knew we should get our picture taken with them first since that is the reason we were visiting.

We almost missed our chance since Curious George goes inside to take a break after a half hour of photo ops. Who could blame him? It was super hot out!

The kids were thrilled to see him and I’m happy we caught him when we did. After our Meet and Greet, we ate lunch and off we went.

The first attraction we visited was Dino Land and I can’t say enough about how awesome it was. The details were so impressive. There was a lot of pointing by my little one and my 4-year-old kept saying “Oooooo! Look at that!”

Dino Land has huge dinosaurs that roar and move and tower over the tiny tourists who visit. It’s located in a well-shaded area of the park that also spritzes a cool mist in certain spots, which is a welcome break from the heat for all parents!

The attraction also has some informative facts about the dinosaurs on display as well as some humorous signs along the path.

After we had our time with the dinosaurs, we went on some rides and called it a day. The kids were exhausted, but happy. That’s always a good day in my book.

I highly recommend checking out Dino Land next time you visit Edaville USA. And of course, it’s always fun to meet your child’s favorite character, too.

Disclosure: My family and I have received annual passes in exchange for this post and future Edaville USA posts for the year 2014. All opinions are my own and Edaville USA did not tell me what to say.
