This sponsored post by Dunkin’ Donuts aims to spread the word about a local cause that is easy to support if you’re a coffee fan like myself. All opinions about Dunkin’ Donuts are my own and I was not told what to say.
I’ve always joked that as a mom I hold it down with humor and snacks, because if you involve food, I swear everyone is happy.
We don’t always go out to eat, but I always have food on me. It’s helped me on so many occasions when we are running to and fro.
I will admit we frequent Dunkin’ Donuts at least two times a week, though. If you’re from Rhode Island, too, I’m willing to bet you go there just as much or more! 😜
Depending on what time of day it is and where we are heading, my kids have very specific menu picks. If it’s snack time, the boys go for Chocolate Frosted Donuts, while my daughter likes a heated Coffee Roll.
If we are stopping at Dunkin’ in the morning, it’s always Wake Up Wraps for everyone, along with hash browns. And this time of year, I can guarantee I’m ordering a French Vanilla Iced Coffee with Milk.
One of my favorite things about Dunkin’ Donuts is that there are so many of them. No matter where we are driving in the state, I know I can find one quickly and treat myself and my kids.
However, even if I have no errands to run on May 24, I will be heading to the Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru in Warren or Seekonk for Iced Coffee Day!
Dunkin’ Donuts’ annual Iced Coffee Day is a fundraising initiative that benefits Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence.
$1.00 from every iced coffee sold will be donated from participating Dunkin’ Donuts in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
The campaign launched in 2010. Since then, Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees have raised more than $1,000,000 for the children’s hospital!
Funds raised in the past have been used to install a new play area in the pediatric ambulatory clinic, renovations to the sixth-floor family room and a new neighborhood and family safety program.
