Leaving the house with three little ones in tow can be a challenge, especially in the winter. February in particular has been the snowiest on record for Providence, Rhode Island.
The snow just won’t stop.
And with the fluffy white stuff comes the frigid temps. My poor kids have been looking like Joey from Friends when he put on all of Chandler’s clothes. Do you remember that one?
This winter, I’ve been using the Acccuweather MinuteCast app, which offers by-the-minute precipitation forecasts for the next two hours, specific to the users’ exact street address.
It also includes precipitation type and intensity, and start and end times for precipitation.
This app has been super helpful when planning my errands with the kids. I can avoid the rain or snow if I know exactly when it’s coming. It’s pretty cool and I’ve never seen anything like it.
