If you’re from New England, you may have heard of or eaten a dish called American Chop Suey. It’s a simple dish involving ground beef, elbow macaroni, seasonings and sometimes vegetables. I grew up with it and I love that my kids like it, too. Since I don’t want to eat the same things every week, I decided to put a twist on this family staple.
Fun Fall Clothing From prAna + 15% Off Discount Code
My wardrobe has been a bit of an issue as of late. I’m four months post partum and most of my pants don’t fit the way they used to. And I’ve come to terms with the fact they may never fit the way I want them to again. My body has carried four children and that’s pretty amazing. If I need to dress accordingly, no biggie!
Back to School Items to Add on Your List
My oldest is in first grade so I didn’t really have a huge school supply list for her. I picked up some #2 pencils, highlighters, glue sticks and boxes of tissues. And even though she didn’t need a lot of actual school stuff, I did want to make sure we were covered in other back to school areas.
Portable Products I’ve Been Loving
I’ve tried to make this summer memorable for my three oldest and I think I’ve succeeded. We’ve been able to go to the beach, enjoy pool days, visit the zoo and multiple playgrounds. It has not been easy. On most of those outings, my mom, sister or husband have been there to help. I’ve also had the help of some really awesome products.
Mix and Match Separates a Great Way to Build Baby’s Wardrobe
This is my first time trying ONESIES® Brand and I love how soft the pants and bodysuit are. Mix and match separates are definitely the way to go when building a wardrobe. You’ll have more flexibility with outfit changes, and plenty of options if you happen to change your baby’s clothes more than once a day.
Easy Back-to-School Lunch Hacks
I’ve been searching for ways to make the transition from summer to school easier and have come across some great lunch hacks. I’ve tested them and they all work. Hooray for easier lunches!

Osmo Numbers Makes Math Fun for Kids
It looks like a game, but your kids will really be learning math. Osmo Numbers has been a great product to help my kids stay away from the Summer Slide. It’s been a fantastic tool because it’s showing my kids there are many ways to solve a math problem.
Easy Back-to-School Savings with Groupon
I probably do 90% of my shopping online. It wasn’t always that way, but with Amazon Prime’s two-day shipping and free shipping with Target if you hold a Red Card, it’s hard for me to not take advantage of it. With four kids, it’s no easy feat shopping in store.
DIY Princess Hat Inspired by Niko and the Sword of Light
This craft project came about after my family and I previewed a new children’s show on Amazon Kids called Niko and the Sword of Light. My daughter loved the headpiece one of the main characters, Princess Lyra wears, but I didn’t have anything similar in my craft box. So, we whipped up something else princess-y instead.
On-The-Go Breakfast Kabobs With Entenmann’s® Little Bites®
It’s actually possible that your kids eat more during the summer. No, really. I have experience. First it’s breakfast, then snack an hour later, lunch an hour after that, another snack after that and so on. Our kids burn energy so fast that they pretty much need to constantly eat to feel satisfied. To be honest, I would love to eat small bites of food throughout the day!
