Christmas is my favorite time of year. Mostly because our family gets together and we all slow down to catch up, eat good food and participate in traditions.
Now that my kids have a bit of an understanding of why we celebrate Christmas, they’re really starting to enjoy what it’s all about.

There are so many family activities we like to do, but nothing beats just hanging around with each other.
This poor sweetie has been sick with a fever since Sunday and still is.
I had promised her we’d make our gingerbread house today and we did. She did great!
My Papa, who is no longer with us, used to play UNO with the kids to help keep them entertained. I haven’t played that in years, but I’m hoping to bring back that tradition and teach my kids the game.
