No-Carve Pumpkin Ideas For Kids

October 29, 2015 By Courtney

If you have small kids like me, then you’re probably looking for some easy, no-carve pumpkin ideas.

We always carve one Jack-o-Lantern, and truth be told, my husband does most of the work. We just scoop out the insides. But, my kids like to really be in on the action, so we had to get creative this year with some easy decorating ideas.

I visited The Rhode Show on WPRI 12 Monday to demonstrate some simple ways to make unique pumpkin creations with the kids.

Check them out!

No-Carve Pumpkin Ideas:

  • Use puffy paint and spray paint for a 3-D look
  • Make your own jack-o-lantern stencil by using painters tape
  • Decoupage pumpkin – using tissue paper and Mod Podge
