I cannot believe my little girl will be 3 years old in a week, and I can’t believe she’s starting pre-school in a month! Man, does time fly!
So, now I, like most moms out there are getting ready for back-to-school. In my eyes, it’s never too early to start.
I recently appeared on Providence’s The Rhode Show to share some great shopping apps that you’ll want to use this year. The best part? They’re free!
Grab a deal without wasting too much time searching for one
Searching for weekly coupons is great if you have the time. But, RetailMeNot will help find discounts on the spot, right from your phone. It can also search stores based on your location. Search for school supplies, clothing and anything else. And pull coupons up to use in store right on the phone.
Shop at multiple locations with RedLaser
This app will save you the time and hassle of running from store to store comparing prices. All you have to do is scan a bar-code or enter the item name and RedLaser will find the best prices online and at local stores.
Have a child in college? Amazon Student can help
Gather your list of books needed, then use the Amazon Student app to scan the books barcodes, and it’ll give you a shopping cart full of the books you need at really low prices. This same app also allows you to sell those same books back.
Window shopping and not ready to buy back-to-school stuff? There’s an app for you too!
ShopKick is a shopping rewards program. There’s no plastic card, application or rules. First download the app, then walk into your favorite stores and you’ll automatically rack up points called “kicks.” No applications to fill out, no purchase required. You can use your kicks to treats yourself to a free latte or some awesome jeans you’ve been eyeing.
