Lucky Man Makes Dunkin’ Run and Wins Big

Can you imagine making your Dunkin’ run and getting the surprise of your life at the same time?

That happened last Thursday morning at the Gano Street Dunkin’ Donuts in Providence around 10:30 a.m. when Jim Murtagh of Somerset, Mass. walked through the door.

He was on a work break at the time and when he entered the building, he was showered with confetti at the fall-themed store, and awarded with a $1,000 check in a fall cornucopia! ???

He was shocked and excited and, funny enough, he said he usually gets to Dunkin’ around 9:30 a.m. instead of 10:30 a.m., but was running late that day! Talk about luck!

Of course, Murtagh said he was extremely happy and grateful for the amazing gift.

I mean, I’m thrilled any morning I get a hot coffee to kick start my day, so I’d be speechless if I was awarded a surprise check, too!
