Inside the EverydayHappy subscription box

September 30, 2015 By Courtney

After having three kids I have tried my share of family personal care products. I’ve bought my products in-store, online and through a subscription box. I do not discriminate, my friends.

Some traits I look for in the products I use are, gentle, cruelty-free, eco-friendly and free of harmful ingredients.

It seems like a tall order, but more and more companies are getting on board with this and I think it’s great. Moms need options, and in my experience, it can take a couple of tries before finding the right brand that suits your family.

One of my three children has super sensitive skin. My husband once threw a dryer sheet in with his laundry and the poor little guy broke out in a body rash right after getting dressed.

Here he is below enjoying a hot day in summer. Such a happy boy!

The body rash story is a little extreme, but knowing any one of my kids can get that reaction, I like to use the same gentle products on everyone. Doing that keeps costs down and keeps my shower from looking like a drugstore.

For the past couple of weeks, my family and I have been trying out the care kits from EverydayHappy.

EverydayHappy is a monthly subscription service that was created by a group of moms and dads. Each  EverydayHappy product is natural and free of carcinogenic materials.

They offer a Diaper Care Kit, a Family Care Kit and a Wellness Care Kit.

I’ve had the opportunity to sample all three kits and I have to say I’m enjoying the diapers a lot.

Quick facts about EverydayHappy diapers:

Toxin-Free • Soft Cloth-Like Texture • Ultra Thin • Hypoallergenic • Fragrance-Free • Ultra Absorbent

What I like about them: They are thin and soft just as the company says they are. My littlest guy is 15 months old and weighs 21 pounds. He has plenty of room in the size 3 diapers he’s been wearing.

After using these all day and night for the past few weeks, we’ve only had leaks twice. And both were overnight. I’m completely happy with that!

Also, I have not once seen any jelly-like particles on my son’s bottom. I’ve found that odd substance with other brands and I have no idea what that stuff is. I can only assume it’s chemicals. That questionable substance is nowhere to be found with these diapers.

On a side note, the diapers are super cute, too! They are available in sizes newborn to 6.

We’ve been using the baby wipes as much as the diapers and they have been great, too.

EverydayHappy Wipes

The wipes are made from natural bamboo and are unscented and free of any fragrance. That’s exactly what my sensitive boys need for their bums.

I’ve used them on the baby’s bottom, face, hands and high chair. We all know how versatile baby wipes can be!

Over the weeks, they’ve been great for travel and have proven to be strong. No rips at all.

The Family Care Kit

This is a great option for large families like mine that will go through these products monthly. It saves you a trip to the store!

Here’s what’s included with the Everyday Happy Family Care Kit:

5 eco-friendly and toxin-free essentials:
– Shampoo & Body Wash 8.4 Fl. Oz
– Face & Body Lotion 8.4 Fl. Oz
– Liquid Hand Soap 8.4 Fl. Oz
– Diaper Care Cream 1.76 Oz

I love the face and body lotion. It’s nice to use the same product on myself and my kids. It’s gentle enough for my one-year-old and more than good enough for me. It’s not too thick and smells clean.

Wellness Care Kit

The Wellness Care Kit in particular is tailored for moms and dads on the go and includes a full month’s supply of Multivitamins and Omega-3s for both parents.

I know I always put my kids first, but you can’t forget about mom and dad!

The pills were easy to swallow and are allergen free. That’s an important factor for me, as I have a nut allergy.

These supplements contain no: Nuts, gluten, eggs, milk + dairy, soy, yeast, wheat, shellfish, artificial flavor, lead, mercury, arsenic, parabens.

Prices for the monthly kits range from $35.95 to $79.95 per month. The company says you can cancel at any time!
