Anyone who reads my blog knows my son, who is now 19 months old, used to often wet through his diapers and clothes, making for a cranky baby in the morning. And let’s face it, who wouldn’t be? My husband jokes that I’m made of sugar because I freak out if a drop of water lands on my head. I can’t imagine waking up with wet pajamas.
We’ve used since day one. I’ve been to the hospital three times now to have my children and that’s the only diaper brand given to me while there. As my children grew, I tried others, like store brands or eco-friendly, but not once did we stop using Pampers. And that’s probably because I trust the brand and the diapers and know my kids’ bums will be protected and dry.
Since my son’s body stays nice and dry through the night, he wakes up happy and ready to face the day. He’s a bit impatient waiting to get out of his crib but I’m sure he’s thrilled to not be soaked right down to the sheets. And I’m happy to not wake up to the sounds of a screaming toddler. Everybody wins! Hooray!
One of the first things my son likes to do in the morning is watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and eat some dry cereal. Without fail though, he has to stop what he’s doing to move along with Mickey to “The Hot Dog Dance.”
It’s the cutest thing. He just swings his arms around. He’s heard that song play from another room and bolted in just to bust a move. I know I’ll be sad one day when this tradition stops and he’s on to something else.
I took a video of him doing “The Hot Dog Dance” the other day because I wanted to remember the moment. I had to sneak from behind and record him because anytime I have my phone out he runs up to it and wants to look through pictures. So, I had to be a little sneak to capture him shaking his groove thang.
Pampers was kind enough to offer one of my readers a fun prize valued at $100, full of things to keep your baby dry and get them movin’ and groovin’.
