School is almost out for summer, and for me that means my third baby is almost here, too! I’m trying to plan out some fun activities for my kids either right before the baby is here, or a month or so after, so they have something exciting to look forward to.
For those of us who live in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the popular engine, Thomas the Tank Engine is chugging into Edaville USA for six dates this summer and six more in the fall!
Both of my kids love to play with trains, so I know they will love to take a ride on one and see Thomas up close! This family fun event kicks off Edaville USA’s 2014 season.
About a Day Out With Thomas:
- Take a magical 20-minute ride on a 15-ton replica of Thomas and meet his kindly but stern boss Sir Topham Hat. Enjoy unlimited use of all amusement rides and indoor and outdoor play spaces.
- The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the dates are as follows: June 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 23
- Enjoy great live music and storytelling, Thomas-themed activities, and lots more at the Imagination Station.
The event costs $20 which includes entry to the park, one 20-minute ride on a passenger car pulled by Thomas, video viewing, coloring, temporary tattoos, story-telling, live entertainment and access to all park rides and amenities.
