We’ve had an unseasonable warm fall and the temperature still continues to be in the low 70s. I still haven’t put away our summer clothes. So crazy!
Everything is all folded, ready to be put in plastic bins, but I keep reaching for shorts and t-shirts.
I don’t want to complain, though, because we’ve been able to spend more time outside. My kids and I are taking full advantage of the weather and are still visiting playgrounds and playing in our yard until dinnertime.
And because they play outside non-stop, it’s really hard to bring them in, even for a meal. That’s why I love feeding my kids snacks that are easy to eat.
I always have something on hand for school pickup, so they can eat it on the way home, or on the way to school pickup at their siblings’ school. And if they’re even more hungry when we get home, I make sure they have something that is portable to eat outside.
Some ideas: cheese sticks, cereal bars, granola bars, bananas or fruit like apples or peaches.
If you want to get festive with a snack idea, check out Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Pumpkin Muffins.
These little bites of fall are a yummy seasonal favorite and are back this year, just as delicious as ever.
Your kids will love them because they are the perfect size for tiny hands.
And you’ll love them because they are baked soft and moist using real pumpkins. They also don’t make a mess in your car. 🙃
I think it’s a good mom snack, too, because they’re only 180 calories per pouch! Little Bites® Pumpkin Muffins also do not contain high fructose corn syrup or trans-fat.
Be sure to check them out now at a store near you.
