‘Tis the season to holiday crafting! Oh, how I love thee. We have less than one week to go until Thanksgiving and I’m getting excited for all of it. The gathering of family, the yummy food, the decor and time off from work.
There’s always so much to be thankful for and this time of year especially, is a wonderful reminder to ask our kids what they are grateful for. I always enjoy the answers coming from little ones as they are sometimes simple, but poignant.
I created this adorable place mat template that my kids and your kids can eat off of this Thanksgiving, sharing exactly what they are thankful for.
There’s space left on the place mat for your child to draw a hand print turkey or doodle their own Thanksgiving picture.

I printed it on a thicker card stock, then glued it to a piece of construction paper.
After that, I took it to Staples to get laminated. And, voila! A DIY Thanksgiving place mat.
And honestly, if you don’t have time to have it laminated, your kids could still eat off it, you’ll just have to throw the place mat out after. Or, you can just hang the art up on the fridge and forego the place mat.
The printable is flexible, so you can do whatever works best for you!
Tip: When you print the PDF, be sure to select the landscape orientation.
Enjoy!
