#DisneySide Cars-themed party fit for a toddler

March 11, 2015 By Courtney

Disclosure: I received a Disney Side@Home Celebration kit from the folks at Mom Select and Disney Parks for this pixie-dusted birthday party. I was not compensated for this post and all opinions are my own.

disneyside-cars-themed-partyWhen it came time to plan my two-year old son’s birthday party I knew it had to revolve around cars. My son carries little cars and trucks with him everywhere. Sometimes even to bed! Car was one of his first words, so it was a no brainer to use Disney Cars as the theme for his big celebration.

The first thing I did to prepare for his party was create his invitation. I used this website that offers FREE online templates and printed them on card stock right at home. I also loved that the program offered the Disney font as a choice for the invitation!

Seriously, how cute are these? Love!

Shortly after I sent out the invitations, my Disney Side @Home Celebration kit arrived on my doorstep full of fabulous goodies for my boy’s party.

Inside my unique package that was designed for preschool boys:

  • Party dinnerware, tablecloth, snack cups, decorations
  • Prizes, games, activities
  • Party favors
  • Recipe ideas
  • And special hostess gifts!

We held at our local Gymboree. The kids had a ball! They enjoyed running around all afternoon and playing some special Disney games. Pin the mouth on Mickey was a favorite for the toddlers.

I’m so happy that everyone had a great time. All of the children went home with wonderful favors provided by the folks at Disney Parks. Even the adults enjoyed some treats.

A big thank you from my son to all that came to celebrate his second birthday!
