Every year at this time I geek out a bit. It’s like my internal clock knows school is about to start and it wants me to go buy new pens and a planner. That was my absolute favorite part of supply shopping. The planner!
Since I no longer go to school, I need to get my fix another way, like through clothes shopping! My daughter is in her final year of preschool and is so excited to start her last year there.
As she says, she’s one of the “big kids” and is so proud. She’s also now in big kid sizes.
We just recently ditched the toddler size for a straight 5. Ugh, that was a sad day! Lucky for me, I have two small boys in diapers, so I don’t need to curl up in a ball and cry just yet.

The day we went to our local Carter’s store, every single thing was on sale! I couldn’t help myself, I bought cute outfits for my two-year-old and one-year-old, too. It was hard to say no when my son picked up anything that had a dog on it and said “mama?” As in, can we get this?

Carter’s is known for having coordinated collections and easy outfit sets. And that’s one of the reasons I adore shopping there. I know pretty much everything will match, the quality is great and the price can’t be beat. This is my absolute favorite kid store.

The day we went shopping was even more successful because my 5-year-old also picked out her first day of school outfit. I love it, it’s so cute!
