I long for the day that my kids and I can head outside with no jacket on and play in the yard until it’s time for dinner. I miss the fresh air and the smell of my favorite flowers.
But, there’s still snow on the ground where I live. However, it hasn’t stopped me from thinking spring. After this long winter, I’m ready to put away the cold-weather clothes and replace them with lighter ones that are full of fun prints and brighter colors.
I’m so glad my kids are close in age because that means I can shop at one store for all of them. Carter’s has been my go-to clothing store since day one. Each one of them came home from the hospital in a Carter’s layette outfit.

But, before I spruce up my kids’ wardrobes for the spring, I wanted to pick out their Easter outfits. I like to keep them in coordinating colors, so I figured I needed to buy them a little early to make sure I could grab everyone’s sizes.

I let my four-year-old choose her dress and she knew which one she wanted right away. It’s an adorable watercolor floral print dress with a ribbon bow.
The colors are bright and beautiful. And my preschooler loves it.
Carter’s recommended a pair of sparkly flats to complete the super cute look. I also bought a white cardigan to go with it because it’s still a bit chilly and I want my daughter to be warm.
I picked out a classic look for my two-year-old son because he will have to pass his outfit on to his brother for next year. I chose an adorable baby blue striped button-front shirt and cotton twill pants. I also found a navy blue sweater vest to go over the shirt to add some warmth.
I’m confident the kids will be plenty comfortable for an egg hunt or a fancy family photo.
Carter’s Easter Shop made it easy to find the outfits, as everything is located in the same spot. There’s even adorable My First Easter products there too, which could make for a great gift for someone.
While my only focus this shopping trip was to pick out Easter outfits, I couldn’t help but spy what else I’ll be grabbing soon.
