If you live in New England, you may have noticed the temperature outside has been pretty mild. But, that does not need to stop you from welcoming winter!
A fun activity that can be done anytime with your kids and their friends, or your whole family, is a Hot Cocoa Bar.
Think of it like an ice cream sundae bar, but instead you’re creating a toasty tradition that’s kid-friendly and fun!
Items needed:
- Carafe for hot cocoa
- Mugs or paper party kids for smaller kids
- Assorted toppings. Examples: sprinkles, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream, maraschino cherries
- Stirrers: pretzel rods, candy canes, fun straws
- Class it up for parents by offering luxury chocolate like B.T. McElrath Chocolatier to snack on. You NEED to try the Salty Dog chocolate. The salt and sweet chocolate taste like a bite of heaven!
- Toppings can be arranged in bowls with spoons, mason jars, whatever you have on hand.
- {FREE PRINTABLE!} For a personal touch, print out this adorable sign to welcome guests!
