We’ve been trying to find more meals for our family where meat isn’t the star of the dish. There’s many reasons for this, but so far we’ve been successful by adding beans as the protein for some dinners. But, it’s hard to find something all 6 of us like. If you follow me and my family’s adventures on social media, you know that we stop at Dunkin’ a lot for snacks and coffee. I love that they’ve taken the guesswork out of trying to find yummy no-meat items because they’ve created a new plant-based sandwich for those of us who want more options!
Dunkin’s New Beyond Sausage Sandwich was sampled by myself, husband and two of my sons and was a complete win across the board.
The sandwich is made with 100% plant-based proteins and a mix of spices crafted especially for Dunkin’. The Beyond Breakfast Sausage™ sandwich is juicy and has all the flavorings you’ve come to know in sausage. It’s served on an English muffin with egg and American cheese.
What started out as my sandwich quickly became my son’s. It was my first day trying it and I only got to eat half!
We weren’t the only ones sampling this new sandwich though. We attended the Taste of Rhode Island event at the Roger Williams Botanical Center last week and Dunkin’ was among the 30 restaurants sampling new items.
It was packed with people and full of food. Samples ranged from soups to sandwiches, risotto, tacos and sweet treats. And Dunkin’ was there handing out free $5 gift cards and the Beyond Sausage Sandwich.
