An animal alphabet nursery for baby boy

I’m still putting the finishing touches on baby boy’s nursery, so I don’t have a finished photo quite yet, but I do have some adorable finds that I just had to share to go along with the theme I chose.

As soon as I heard I was having a boy I knew immediately I wanted the room to be filled with animals. I am a HUGE animal lover and I just felt it was important to expose him to more nature type stuff than footballs and baseballs. Even though my husband would have LOVED a baseball themed room. I told him there’s plenty of time for that!

I piggy backed the animal theme with alphabet letters because when my daughter was a baby, her favorite song was the ABCs. That song, without fail, always lulled her to sleep. It was also the first song she ever learned to sing from beginning to end, so I figured let’s try and do the same with this little guy.

So, there’s the back story and here are the cutest little details I found to fill the room.
